Set aside your cellphone, tv and drinking and smoking habits and pickup your hand tools, no gas needed!
Save your own seeds and grow a diversity of crops with no single crop taking up more than 10-20% of your land.
Wait, what is the catch?
You will sweat like crazy while working and you will probably become healthy and fit, growing and eating such awesome healthy and delicious food! Grow a healthy heart and some healthy muscles at the same time!
The main reason to not do things the right way is that you will need to get up early and work in the blistering sun or the chilling rain, whether its hot or cold. Grab your raincoat and push on!
I do not even own a plow, and will not be using one anymore. A shovel costs less and digs deeper! Besides who doesn’t want to be in shape?
If you want to wash your rich soil during the rainy season just uncover it or even better plow it and away it goes down to the river and out to the sea, Along with all your chemicals that you have been putting into the soil, then yell, CLIMATE CHANGE! LETS ALL KEEP THE VENERABLE DAY OF THE SUN.

Instead; all your grass that you want to burn, OR THROW IN THE DUMP, use it as mulch to smother the weeds and save your soil, and the dry season will not dry up your crops so quickly because it will keep your soil from direct sunlight and by that will keep it from drying out so fast.
