No natural food is so appealing, refreshing or delicious as fresh fruits in their natural condition.
The Source of Health
1. Does God want us to be sick or healthy?
3John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
2. What does God’s Word have to do with health?
Prov 4:20-23 My son, attend to my words; incline thine ear unto my sayings. Let them not depart from thine eyes; keep them in the midst of thine heart. For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
3. Who is the source of my health?
Ps 42:11 Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted within me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
4. Who is the health among all nations?
Ps 67:2 That thy way may be known upon earth, thy saving health among all nations.
5. What does pride have to do with health?
Prov 3:7 Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the LORD, and depart from evil. 8 It shall be health to thy navel, and marrow to thy bones.
6. How can we bring health to ourselves and those around us?
Prov 16:24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
7. What else can we do that will bring health speedily?
Isa 58:7 Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh? 8 Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall be thy rereward.
8. Does God have a problem with physicians who only treat symptoms, and are not able to actually heal?
Jer 8:22 Is there no balm in Gilead; is there no physician there? why then is not the health of the daughter of my people recovered?
9. Who has the ultimate power over health and sickness?
Jer 30:17 For I will restore health unto thee, and I will heal thee of thy wounds, saith the LORD;
Jer 33:6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
Isa 19:22 And the LORD shall smite Egypt: he shall smite and heal it: and they shall return even to the LORD, and he shall be intreated of them, and shall heal them.
10. What will God not do if we follow His laws of health in nature?

The Relationship Between Prayer and Health

1. How old was Adam when he died?

2. How long did God tell Noah, that He would allow man to live?
Gen 6:3 And the LORD said, My spirit shall not always strive with man, for that he also is flesh: yet his days shall be an hundred and twenty years.
3. What was the reason for shortening our lifespan?
Gen 6:5 And GOD saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth, and that every imagination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.
4. Other than changing the climate during the flood in the days of Noah, what was the only thing mentioned in all scripture that has anything to do with health? In other words what was added to the diet?

7. What is the definition of fish, or are fish part of a vegan diet?
FISH, (Webster’s Dictionary)
1. An animal that lives in water. Fish is a general name for a class of animals subsisting in water, which were distributed by Linne into six orders. They breathe by means of gills, swim by the aid of fins, and are oviparous. Some of them have the skeleton bony, and others cartilaginous. Most of the former have the opening of the gills closed by a peculiar covering, called the gill-lid; many of the latter have no gill-lid, and are hence said to breathe through apertures. Cetaceous animals, as the whale and dolphin, are, in popular language, called fishes, and have been so classed by some naturalists; but they breathe by lungs, and are viviparous, like quadrupeds. The term fish has been also extended to other aquatic animals, such as shell-fish, lobsters, etc. We use fish, in the singular, for fishes in general or the whole race.

1. What was the human diet in the beginning, and do you think there was a flaw or fault with God’s plan for our diet?
Gen 1:29 And God said, Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed, which is upon the face of all the earth, and every tree, in the which is the fruit of a tree yielding seed; to you it shall be for food.
Gen 2:9 And out of the ground made the LORD God to grow every tree that is pleasant to the sight, and good for food; the tree of life also in the midst of the garden, and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.
2. Should we go back to the way it was in the beginning?
Matt 19:8 He saith unto them, Moses because of the hardness of your hearts suffered you to put away your wives: but from the beginning it was not so.
NOTE: I know this is talking about marriage, however it also says that the way things were set up in the beginning is the best. What, can we improve God’s plan?
3. To be spiritually healthy what should we eat and drink every day?
John 6:33 For the bread of God is he which cometh down from heaven, and giveth life unto the world.
John 6:35 And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

12. What does God have to say about genetically modified seed?

NOTE: The reason why God said the seed with water was unclean was because it would more readily be genetically contaminated. GMO’s are UNCLEAN and in the same class as pork and mice.
NOTE: If you want to start eating healthier but cannot go directly to a vegetarian diet then read Lev chapter 11 for a place to start.

Conclusion:
A Whole plant food diet, service to our community and faith in God, is God’s plan for health. The diet has the following food groups.
1, Whole Fruits
2, Whole Grains
3, Whole Vegetables
4, Whole Legumes
5, Whole Nuts & Seeds

Does not include refined food or highly processed food sold in supermarkets.
God did not invent pesticides, herbicides and preservatives.
Going back to how it was in the beginning the best choice, same as marriage. Matt 19:4 And he (Jesus) answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made [them] at the beginning made them male and female,
Gen 2:8 And the LORD God planted a garden eastward in Eden; and there he put the man whom he had formed.

A few more thoughts.
I know some have gone on a purely raw diet, or removed many things from their diet without replacing them with healthy fruits, vegetable, grains, seeds, nuts and legumes and have even suggested that we can simply exchange bad oils for the good. However In 2010 my blood pressure was 205/145, but after eating a whole food diet using too much oil my blood pressure would not drop down to normal, until we stopped using excess oil. An adult only requires about 3-4 tablespoon of oil per day, and most of that comes from the food that we eat without even adding any. So when we changed our habit of using too much oil to only about 2-3 tbsp per meal for 2 adults and 2 children, my blood pressure dropped immediately. In 2020 it was 120/79.
However, now if I am not careful and eat too much oil or processed food (I do not eat meat) my bp goes up right away. This knowledge of God’s plan has literally saved my life. In 2011-15 I had very bad chest pains, but now they are gone! Praise God!
I also would like to caution to not go to extremes. Eggs contain vitamin b12 and other things that we need, but the eggs you buy in the store are not part of a healthy diet. We bought our own chickens.
Also about cooking, since I want a healthy complete diet, I eat grains and beans which are not practical to eat raw. We could sprout them but not allowing any cooking is extreme if you ask me. We need to remember that we do live in a sinful world and that we are not eating for immortality, but rather to live a more healthy lifestyle.
We are planting plenty of fruit trees so we can eat lots of fruits in the future, but that takes years and buying everything in the market or store is not an option for us as we would use all our money for food instead of seeds and plants and never be able to pay all our debts. We need to understand our priorities and use a little common sense.
I wasn’t being healed by the doctors so I studied the Bible, and followed God’s plan instead and I have seen results that far exceed anything any medication ever did for me. If you want a Doctor’s advice I am not a doctor and cannot help you. Also please do not carelessly follow bad ideas that lead to more suffering and death. For example: If you are on strong medication do not just drop it without some professional help.
